Tender Details
The overall objective of this 4-year TA programme is to promote access to responsible sources of funding and technical support for smallholder farmers, notably women, in Ethiopia to grow production in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner in accordance with EU environmental and social (E&S) standards. The specific objective is to support the deployment of the EIB-s EUR 110 million credit line to RUFIP III by ensuring that all participating RUFIP III beneficiaries (notably the DBE and RFIs) implement the project-s Environmental and Social Management Framework which will become a mandatory condition to receive EIB funds and to provide technical support for rural households and smallholder farmers (particularly women) to adopt sustainable agricultural production methods.
